let’s talk

Thinking of making the shift from baseball to political commentary. Sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

Some Pitching Coach would love to make this more aesthetically pleasing at 88mph and tell him he won’t get hurt now. Pretend he did the dude a favor. Keep chucking my man

This throw will break your mo cap lab in half… 93 MPH from 17 yr old Evan Taylor, an Alabama baseball commit. Throws hard and throw strikes, don’t watch it too many times or you might rethink what you thought you knew. #Rotator #Develop #ET

If you’re in player development and you tweet more about yourself than your athletes. You’re the problem. It’s not about you in the slightest

If your entire existence on this platform is built around attacking others and tearing people down get a life. Promote people and things you like. @shegone03 looking at you

Pitching in a game and shoving? Keep breathing. Keep it going. Pitching in a game and getting shelled? Keep breathing. Don’t let the snowball keep rolling. Meaningful breathing can be a super power if used the right way

What some athletes think you’re asking them to do when you ask them to eat more

bros insides are screaming for help 💀

As season approaches don’t completely abandon your warmup and prep work you’ve become accustomed to in the offseason. These aren’t in place to kill time. They’re for your benefit. Just because you have catch partners now doesn’t mean that’s all you have to do in order to pitch.

Want to “bulletproof” your arm? Throw the shit out of it as often as you can

I like to compare weighted balls to lifting weights. If your job was to move a 135lb bench press as many times as possible would you only bench 135lbs? No you’d do overload/underload training. Why do people over complicate?

Don’t be the guy who has to let everyone around you know how smart you are. Let your work show tell them that

Are weighted balls dangerous? 🤔 This is like asking “are deadlifts/squats dangerous?” Yes, you might get injured squatting. Is that risk elevated when accounting for form, age, experience, proper loading, progression, coaching & deloads? I'd argue no. 1/

People like to over complicate development. There are a lot of instances where it can be as simple as watch someone who is better than you, and then try and replicate the things they do.

Here’s some free training advise: Find some dudes who throw harder than you Feel bad when you throw slow Subconsciously copy them OR Watch the pros on TV Feel bad that you throw slow Subconsciously copy them

Private sector coaches, what is your preferred location of an athlete’s parents during a lesson!

Let’s talk pitcher development. What is eyewash? What isn’t? What fits somewhere in the middle?
