EIGHT LIVES LEFT!!! Phoenix Firefighters rescued this tough little kitty from an apartment fire and used a “Fido Bag” to help it start breathing again after it was overwhelmed with smoke. Firefighters also kept the fire from spreading to roughly 10 other apartments. Good job!
Not surprisingly, “Elvis” was the star of the show as soon as he landed with his handler, Fire Captain Dana Medlin. Elvis is the newest addition to the FEMA search dog family here in Phoenix. The two just arrived from Philadelphia where they’ve spent the last few days training.

Phoenix Firefighters have rescued a woman from a house fire near N 69th Ave and W McDowell Rd. The fire was extinguished and the fire is under investigation.
