The Ice Bar Amsterdam, where everything is made of ice -,including the welcome. I was told, “You English never listen to instructions!” Because I had the temerity to ask for my 2 price included vodka shots at the same time A gentle history/geography lesson ensued 😉

Sad news - I remember Steve as a superb rugby writer on The Western Mail in my playing days Got to know him again through The Welsh Rugby Writers' Association A lovely guy with a delightful sense of humour and someone who always had the interests of the game at heart. RIP 🙏
