Perception of pharmacists' role in healthcare is horrible. I have been told by a patient that "their health is none of my business" What do they even think we're there for? I promise, we do a whole lot more than just count pills & slap a label on it.
and by the way i think the takeaway here is not that we should hate poor uneducated people, but that the republican party directly benefits from keeping people poor and uneducated which is why they create policies which do just that

To anyone who thinks otherwise - I am not bashing the US healthcare system. I am highlighting how deeply inhuman the US INSURANCE system is. By & large, the doctors & nurses & other staff in US hospitals that I work with have been incredible. But the insurance system is cruel.
