Today, at the AERC committee I proposed we prioritise looking at reform to ensure the Assembly doesn't collapse again. Sinn Féin, the DUP and UUP voted against that. We will continue to raise the issue of reform, including at the next AERC meeting.

Very disappointing to hear this today The SF first minister and DUP deputy came to our community and promised action - cross party action Yet when alliance showed leadership on this issue, they shirked their responsibility How many of our waterways will we watch die?

It’s shameful that other parties have voted against Alliance’s plan to increase penalties for polluters. Our proposal would’ve reversed the DUP’s cap on cross-compliance penalties. Only Alliance is committed to protecting our environment and Lough Neagh.

Voting on Friday? Watch this first.👇

This is how Mary Lou McDonald treated this rape victim - me - publicly. Watch it. Remember it. This wasn't a chance encounter. It was a calculated response, designed to cast doubt about a traumatised young woman who did nothing on her but tell the truth about republicans.

Proud to use the platform I have to amplify voices like @SineadAoibheann because it’s so easy to get bogged down in the policy and procedure but we need to hear the lived experience of those it most impacts.

Lived experience front & centre of the Assembly Chamber today thanks to @sianalliance understanding the need for our voices to be amplified. Thank you Sian for everything you do. Nothing about us, without us! ❤️👏🙌😍

You couldn’t make it up. The DUP Communities Minister - responsible for poverty - has splurged £18,804 on business class flights. A scandalous waste of public money while our constituents struggle and our public services are under strain.

This evening 50 years ago 1,000s of people went out into the streets of Birmingham to meet friends & family. Over 200 of these people eventually made it home, some with life changing injuries, 21 others never saw the light of day again! 200, 21, Zero Justice - Law & Order?

I was disgusted to hear @gordonlyons1 shouting ‘SIT DOWN’ at @KateNicholl while she was on her feet and speaking in the Assembly chamber this evening. Hugely disrespectful to a fellow MLA.

Disgusted that the Minister of Communities shouted at me twice to sit down as I was making a legitimate point of order regarding childcare funding. Aggressive, arrogant and have to say - doubt it would have happened if I was a man.

In the wake of the most appalling case of online child abuse we’ve ever seen, parents are right to call out Republican paramilitaries as ‘tone deaf’. I welcome every move by voluntary and statutory orgs including PSNI to educate children about online harm m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/ne…
