Gerard Manley Hopkins' "Windhover," except it's about a Warthog GAU 8 Avenger... not sprung rhythm, more like "belt fed rhythm @ 4000 rpm"

People getting their bourgeois sensibilities offended by a wild teen girl and a starving artist running off to Mexico have not affected how I think about McCarthy at all. In fact, I'd like to politely tell them all to kiss my ass.

youtube.com/watch?v=4kE7tD… Now that everyone has left twitter (and the algorithm oppresses me anyway) I am free to talk about my lit'rary influences. Listened to this song (and preamble) on many a Jr. B. Hockey road trip on the frozen, bald-ass prairie and yeah. Made me a writer.

anyone who works for or receives benefits from the government is prohibited access to the "transgressive lit" label, & also forbidden use of "margin of society" as address on residency card

not to libpost but the transgressive lit space owes any fleeting moments of status or broader appeal to queer people and others who exist on the actual margins of society and not just because they’re “pro free speech” and “based” or whatever

Starting at 1:26:00 I read some quotations from Joseph Brodsky's "Uncommon Visage" & talk about them with @bizzrmiscreant then read 2 poems, "After Orson Welles" & "The Gambler Reasons There's No Such thing as a Random Number Generator," which you can read expatpress.com/prayers-to-the…

Have you ever talked to a boxer? Also, what kind of boxer? Defensive? Mauler & brawler? Tactician? Counterpuncher? What weight class? Those guys tend to have particular personality-types or traits. Styles makes fights, and style is an expression, distillation of personality.

Thinking about making my character a boxer. Has anyone ever tried this before? Seems promising. Couple of macho props in the corner, a heavy bag, a pair of old worn mitts. He never actually boxes though. But the reader will get a sense of menace from his accessories

Taken from a true story, but the sexes are reversed. The original plays as existential horror: a man trapped in a vegetal body, being spoon fed by the guy railing his wife. Here, the man's incel-coded & a sub & the invalid is the dom. cbsnews.com/news/kris-arms…
