Agreed. Yes there is proper technique required but so much of successful hitting is your mental approach.
Find video of a big leaguer's swing...then find video of that big leaguers swing as a senior in HS. You may be shocked! It's not the swing that changes as they climb the ladder...it's their approach to hitting that changes.

Gearing up for the '23 season by revisiting live looks from last year. Put eyes on Cade Kuehler (RHP, @GoCamelsBSB) as he shoved against Ohio State in midweek action last May. The compact righty got 17 s/m in the game, 13 of which came off his fastball. 6IP, 4H, 1R, 2BB, 10K.
