I know a very talented researcher who received the @NSF GRFP in neuroscience (amazing!) but was not admitted to any PhD programs this cycle. Any #neuroscience PhD prgms able to consider a trainee with 3 yrs funding so they don't need to decline the award? (Can't defer it seems)

I am so stoked to share that I was awarded the @NSF GRFP! 🧬 A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to my application, whether it be a last minute proof read or emotional support coffee date

Another seminar in the books! I had a great time presenting my “Research in Progress” to Vanderbilt’s DNA Damage and Response group and learning more about PARP1’s role in DNA replication.

Today I gave my first seminar talk and shared my research in progress with the Toxicology training program here at Vanderbilt! Not much beats Mexican food, NEIL3, and getting valuable project feedback 😄
