Martin O’Neill and Gordon Strachan battle it out in the Celtic park dugout during a Scotland V Republic of international 2014.

A great night in paradise. A very nostalgic one at that too for us Celtic supporters. Scotland were of course managed by Gordon Strachan and the Republic led by Martin O’Neill, with our very own Broony laying on the assist for wee Shaun Maloney. Fantastic night.

Best of luck to Arne Engels who starts for Belgium tonight in their nations league clash with Italy 🇧🇪 🍀

End of interest…

Motherwell want at least £4million for Lennon Miller. Rangers are interested in the midfielder. [Daily Mail]

A decent crowd backing Celtic FC woman who were playing in the champions league at Celtic park last night, but unfortunately they lost narrowly 2-1 to a decent Chelsea side. They might not have got the result that they wanted, but they have made giant strides at this level.

Callum McGregor with the first of 5 goals from outside the box this season. The skipper is in fine form this campaign.

I joined to see what all the fuss was about. I’m actually quite impressed, and it’s less of a cesspit than X. Have most of you joined? And do you still flick between there and here?

My last word on the Remembrance Day ‘drama.’ Those who sacrificed their lives in the first two world wars should rightly be remembered, but talk of all ‘wars’ is nonsense, and that is indeed the problem. When was the last time this country was involved in a war? All I can recall…

This is so messed up. Maccabi fans cause destruction in Amsterdam yet Besiktas are being punished. The correct decision would have been to ban Maccabi fans from travelling to Turkey as they are clearly the ones in the wrong. UEFA displaying their bias once again.

The Europa League game between Turkish side Besiktas and Maccabi Tel Aviv will be held at a neutral venue in Hungary instead of Istanbul as originally scheduled, due to safety concerns. The game will be played behind closed doors, Hungarian authorities have decided citing the…

Celtic rumoured to be interested in a January move for Lennon Miller. It would need to be a big bid to tempt Motherwell to sell their most prized asset. Most likely a bid well over £5 million, but one that would be well worth it. A future Callum McGregor replacement?

Thank goodness Poppy season is over. Talk of banning Celtic from next year’s fixture is ludicrous. After all we are forever being told that politics don’t belong in football aren’t we? We never used to have this sort of circus inside football stadiums in the past. What changed?

Daniel Cummings celebrates scoring yet another goal. The 18 year old has scored an impressive 20 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions this season, including 4 goals in as many matches in the UEFA youth champions league. Let’s hope he commits his future to the club.
