In case you missed it, two defunct satellites are getting very, very close to each other in space terms (about half a football field) and may crash. “Space: not crowded until things are wizzing by at thousands of miles per hour”
Final update prior to close approach: 47 meter predicted miss distance, w/ increased separation in the cross-track direction. Next scheduled radar passes for both objects to occur approximately two hours after the event.
