Talking about bats & ecotoxicology everywhere I go 😄 This time presenting my research in Granollers 🦇🇪🇸
Everybody is welcome :)
We start this week! Welcome!

Biodiversiy is declining, yet we have limited knowledge about how that affects human well-being. My work linking bats, insecticide use, and human infant health is out today in Science (science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…), and tells a complex story about how those are connected.
Last week I was presenting results of my PhD studies on @ebrs2024 in beautiful Tarragona 🇪🇸🦇

An eye opening plenary talk at #SETACSeville by @maura_hiney diving into some shocking trends in academic integrity and how fostering a culture of honesty and trust, as well as policy driven initiatives, is fundamental for the future of research 📈

Shchedryk, which was americanized into Carol of the Bells, is a Ukrainian song about the turning of the seasons from winter to spring, the new year as traditionally understood. It is a song of hope and reassurance, as well as great beauty.
🇺🇦Carol of the bells by Angelina Usanova Miss Universe Ukraine❤️ This year, Christmas is not fun again. But Shchedryk sounds again against all odds. This is our song of Strength and Hope. I believe that the next Shchedrik will sound in war free Ukraine!
Happy to share this work on the hunting behavior of greater mouse-eared bats 🦇🌕 Turns out, they like a big, chunky beetle even though they are much harder to catch than smaller moths @AHubancheva @YovelBatLab @batsmoths doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… @eLife
Тамблер нагадав мені про цю картинку, досі не знаю хто зробив, але моя шана
