⠀ “good to know i’m a good inspiration for ya’ , doc ~” she licked the frosting around her lips before she smiled at the blonde woman. “i’m glad ya’ can have some time off! ya’ deserve that. i don’t want ya’ to get sick!” ⠀
❝ No , no . Tonight I am actually off , no plans but to relax . Maybe I get to read a book for once , ❞ Angela hummed , swiping some frosting off the corner of her mouth. ❝ These may have actually turned out my best batch yet . . . You're lucky ~ ❞
⠀ she kept her smile & started to eat the piece of cupcake as looking at the doctor. “so, what are your plans for tonight? are ya’ still overworkin’ yourself?” she asked & waited for an answer while holding her smile. ⠀
She had never seen her smile like that , and it was the most radiant one Angela ever witnessed . So , the piece of the cupcake was taken with a grateful nod . ❝ Thank you . To you , then . And to your good health ! ❞
⠀ “it ain’t easy for me to do things for others, but it’s easy to do things for ya’! angela, ya’ remembered ma’ birthday. that’s somethin’ sweet of ya’ so, take it. i wanna share it with ya’!” cue a genuine smile on her face. ⠀
❝ Oh , but you really don't have to ! I am simply happy to do something nice for others. ❞ Her eyes drop to the presented half of the cupcake , uncertainty grasping her again . ❝ Ah please , it is your birthday . You enjoy the whole thing ! ❞
⠀ “don’t worry, angel. i will return the favour when your birthday comes! ya’ baked for me, i will cook for ya’!” she took the cupcake & split it in two with her hands, giving the other piece to the doctor. ⠀
Her cheeks flush a rosy color after the gentle poke , her eyelashes fluttering . ❝ I am afraid to disappoint you but anything not baked , do not take it from me . ❞
⠀ “i’m very good at cookin’, surprisingly — but, i’m also sure you’re exaggeratin’! i bet ya’ ain’t that bad at cookin’!” she chuckled & poked angela’s nose playfully. ⠀
❝ It is not cooking . All I can do is bake ! Cookies , cupcakes , I am a horrendous cook actually . ❞ Angela was a little bashful regarding her gift , but hoped she would like it nonetheless .
⠀ it looked delicious; & although ashe wasn’t used to that kind of / presents / , but she trusted angela a lot, & she felt comfortable with her. “i honestly didn’t know ya’ could bake, angela. i’m impressed!” ⠀
❝ No I did not , but I am gladly doing it . ❞ She hummed happily , hoping Ashe was going to like the taste of it . Vanilla lemon had never failed her so far . . . especially with the chocolate sprinkles .
⠀ she smiled at that present. she didn’t get too many of those, but she was happy to get it from angela. “ya’ didn’t have to, darlin’!” ⠀
❝ I agree ! I even got you a little something . . . ❞ She's producing forth a cupcake with a single candle .
⠀ “thank ya! also, nice to see ya’ again, doc!” ⠀

⠀ “i’m bringin’ ya’ lunch tomorrow!” she said, stealing a soft kiss from angela’s lips before chuckling. “sweet~” ⠀
ㅤㅤ " Fine fine, you can pay for the food since you want to do it so badly" The Doctor poked the cowgirl's stomach few times playfully, Chuckling a bit with a smile ㅤㅤ
⠀ “i have to worry ‘bout ya’! you’re ma’ girlfriend. i still don’t know how! i jus’ know i don’t wanna lose ya’!” she said as she kept following the doctor, still holding her hand. “okay! i’m payin’ your food!” ⠀
ㅤㅤ " You worry too much. How about less worrying, more paying for food?" The Doctor smiled a bit, continuing to walk forward while trying to remember where her favourite restaurants were ㅤㅤ
⠀ “yeah, how unfortunate for ya’!” she scoffed again & rolled her eyes playfully. then, she shrugged. “ma’ life ain’t interestin’ as yours!” ⠀
"Didn' know ya' were 'round." He responds with a small grin. "'ts good see'n ya' again. 'ts be'n happenin'?"
⠀ “ . . . ” ⠀
⠀ “thanks for invitin’ me one!” she said as she walked towards the man, scoffing. “good to see ya’ again, cole.” ⠀
⠀ knocks on the doctor’s office, she wasn’t wearing her cowgirl clothes. she needed to hide. instead of that, she was wearing a black cap, sunglasses, jeans, sneakers & a yellow shirt. “ . . . ” ⠀
⠀ “i ain’t sure if that is good for us. i jus’ hope we don’t end up hatin’ each other.” she sighed & started to follow angela without releasing her hand. ⠀
ㅤㅤ " I never thought I'd find someone as stubborn as I am." The Doctor huffed a bit. She didn't need anyone protecting her but she appreciated it. " Let's go get food. I am really hungry" ㅤㅤ
⠀ she trusts angela. she is a good listener anyway. she needs someone who truly wants to listen to her & offer emotional support. ⠀
Having a messy mind is nothing to be ashamed of . Trusting can be hard , she gets that . Hopefully she will find someone worthy of her trust , though .
⠀ ashe’s mind is a mess. & she knows that not everyone is willing to listen to what she has to say. it’s hard for her to trust. but, she will visit the doctor soon. it’s a promise. ⠀
