The nature of wildfire and the need to manage it requires resources. Our members have approximately 14,000 pieces of specialized equipment including timber faller modules, engines, tenders, dozers, other specialized equipment, and fire/ emergency incident camp services.

Nationally, there were 68,988 wildfires reported in 2022. This number was noticeably higher than in the last ten years. These fires consumed 7,577,183 acres across the nation. NWSA member partners bring necessary skills, equipment, and expertise to protect at-risk communities.
