This is a fantastic thread on agriculture exploitation.

Is it possible to farm without exploitation? I've spent a decade working all over ag looking for the answer to that question. The world is littered with evidence that it is not possible. I've found one "Yes," in all my obsession searching. And I'm betting career on it. THREAD

L this would be a huge step forward, it would be complex accounting, but would sort emissions problems allot faster than the current format, while also rewarding farmers running high stocking rates that are nutrient efficient agriland.ie/farming-news/i… #agriland

Demand for high environmental & social standards in textiles is rising. But #greenwashing is around the corner: 60% of green claims in the textile industry are exaggerated, false, or deceptive. #OrganicTextiles' credibility must be protected just like any other organic products!

Just reading this, no disrespect to the authors, however I'd love to see the data that suggests this ! is it a case that maybe 1 or 2 % of consumers are willing to look at emissions over price, but then all products are supposed to meet these goals with no benefits to any party !

You haven't seen complexity in art until you've seen this 600-year-old painting. It's so detailed that modern medicine has been able to diagnose this man's exact type of blindness. And that's where things get mind-bendingly strange — this whole thing is an illusion... 🧵

I left UK two years ago today. This is the last picture I have taken on British soil. Why would I take a picture of a van in Dover, the place I drove a van through hundreds of times? Because I was bored and had too much time on my hands A threat🧵

Italy still hasn't nominated its EU Commissioner. Government will meet on 30 August ahead of 31 August deadline. No rush. As Cesare Marchi remarked, "when judgement day arrives, the Italians will ask God for an extension and, because they are Italians, God will grant them one."
