I’ve just started a Bluesky account with the username nigeladamsbookworm. Bluesky is designed, and looks like twitter but at the moment isn’t full of the spite in X. Let’s see if it takes off
The originality of the stories in the Kim Stone series by Angela Marsons never fails to amaze me. I can’t wait to blog my review about the latest, 36 HOURS, but I have to wait till publication day. What a cracker of a book. @WriteAngie @bookouture #mustread
When this land in your inbox you know there’s not going to be a lot of sleep tonight @WriteAngie @bookouture

A Random Kill by @AndrewBarrettUK An absolute belter of a book. Probably the best opening to a new series I’ve ever read. Click the link in the image to read my review ⬇️ nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/10/12/a-r…
Sat in the best coffee shop in the Black Country wondering which drink to go for first
How can two Sainsbury’s stores, 20 minutes apart, be so different in petrol pricing. Blackheath (west mids) £1.30.9. Wolverhampton £1.25.9 @sainsburys
Before satnav. As a firefighter we had to know every road on our patch. When we became drivers most of us used to invest in a map, cut our patch out, cover it in cling film and keep it on us. This advert is exactly the map I carried. @jigsawpuzzleuk
Patricia Gibney has done it again. If you haven’t found the Lottie Parker crime series yet, you are in for a treat. If you have you are not going to be disappointed by Her Last Walk Home @trisha460 @bookouture nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/09/23/her…
The Crash Robert Peston. A great story but I have to admit I nearly gave up on it. The book covers the aggressive devaluation of a bank, why and by who, make a riveting read. A cracking political thriller. Review in link below @ZaffreBooks @Peston nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/09/02/the…
Good day out with great company, and we even got to see some cricket this year. Eventually 🌧️🌧️🌧️
This is the book I’ve been waiting for, for years. At last somebody has stepped up to fill the boots of Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy. Zero Risk by Simon Hayes. Click on the image below for my review @mySimonHayes nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/08/12/zer…

My Daughters Revenge by Natalie Simmonds. A clever plot, the story of a mother and teenage daughter, the mother desperate to rekindle her sex life, the daughter desperate to start hers. Both make bad decisions. @bookouture @NJSimmondsbooks nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/07/19/my-…
We don’t actually set the classroom on fire. But we do use video simulation to show how a fire would develop in the classroom we use. A view from the corridor as the fire reaches flashover. Pressure pushing hot gases into the corridor. @wlv_uni @Fire_Cadets
When you’ve just finished this book, and then the events happen at the Trump rally. 🤔🤔 nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/07/06/sou…
A blast from the past. Looking through some old photos and found this. I’m third from the right. Looking at the old kit, compared to today’s, it’s no wonder I’ve got a few burn scars. Happy days.
An absolute classic to finish off the Best American Crime series I’ve ever read. Southern Man by Greg Iles. Not a book for the faint hearted but certainly one for anybody who enjoys a gritty crime/political thriller. @GregIles nigeladamsbookworm.com/2024/07/06/sou…
