When I woke up this morning, I was worried that I might get to the end of the week without learning about a new way that Canada is taxing its citizens. Thankfully, my concerns were unfounded.

Just heard from a friend who makes $40k a year and relies on a 2nd home for income that they won’t sell that house now (they were planning to this fall for retirement bc they don’t have a pension) bc of the capital gains increase. That doesn’t feel like going after the top 0.13%…
