It’s heeeeeere!!!! Wrote this novel (and two sequels) during the first year I lost the ability to eat. ANE cosmos meets Tolkien—meets all the characters and stories in my head. amzn.to/3J8s0gI

It was surprising how much the kids enjoyed this chapter. They asked me to keep going into genesis 5 until the birth of Noah. So much to unpack here! - seed of the woman; seed of the serpent - the two lamechs - turning everyone into Ace Attorney characters

Just finished my first round of edits for my book on fasting with @LexhamPress It’s an interesting process… going through my own book. I think I’ll need to read and reread it for the rest of my life. Christ will always be enough. And I’ll always have times where I forget it.

Going through @racheljwelcher ‘s edits on my book. This one cracked me up.

Genesis 4 homeschool board today. The kids requested that Cain have spiked hair, and Abel had emo hair.

Simple words and fun illustrations invite toddlers to meet King Jesus. And search for FatCat and his friends on every page! This is a perfect book for introducing young children to Jesus, our God and King.

It’s been crazy being able to design characters from my illustrated books, print them, paint them, and see them come to life in my home. I spent barely $15 dollars on the 3D software, and suddenly I’m holding a figure in my hand. Wow. @Elegoo_Official #MakeMyDay #ElegooDay2024

My first online interaction with the man who would become my husband. With one single quote, we both knew the other was legit. Well, @ljkennedy_ there really was no use rowing from your concentrated 🐋

It never ceases to amaze me how much rich time I get from praying just the daily office with my nursing team day In and day out. It is changing me, my friends. I’m So deeply grateful I’m the midst of pain and confusion

Best part of the day: when the kids and Lindsay come to visit at the hospital. Worst part of the day: when they go home. Visits like these remind me of how rich I really am to have them in my life day after day. Thank you Lord

Been a whirlwind hospital stay, but I’m finding peace amidst it all. I’ve finished both Mary and Joseph 3D designs while here. Starting on baby Jesus next! Sort of cool to think their designs were made while I sat waiting for my body to recover. Advent—the time of waiting, indeed

A classic hymnist described the scars of Jesus’ earthly suffering as emblems of glory in the life hereafter: “Rich wounds, yet visible above - in glory beautified”

From “A Quiet Mind to Suffer With,” by John Bryant Amazing to think that Christ can not only transform us now, but he can work in our memories, traumas and tragedies, transforming them in order to do new work in us now.
