We hosted @torontolife in our home (home, but not a house). Because we need a drastic cultural shift when we talk about housing and if we want to tackle affordability, this is an essential step to get there.

Architect Naama Blonder believes that raising her family downtown is cheaper, safer and more friendly than doing so in the suburbs. She explains why other young families should follow suit torontolife.com/real-estate/my…

What a waste - above grade parking (facing an outdoor playground) in a much needed, over-capacity, under staffed community centre, where the majority of users don't drive here (or at all) at the Canoe Landing Community Centre in City Place

"How many of the other architects you are interviewing today for this project could tell you that they, themselves, live, raise their family, use transit and the park is their backyard, like the typical end user of this project?" 0. In the photo: my 1y/o exploring our floor.

A Councilor just said that "most people in our condos don't know the name of their neighbours". Well, do you know the name of every single person in the BLOCK of SFH you live in? Because that would be the equivalent. Stop the stigma against condos, you are not helping anyone.

Here it is, my manifesto on NIMBYs' Myths. It got 2,380 on LI since yesterday. youtube.com/watch?v=2EPuva… @NarcityCanada @blogTO

Part of @JohnTory 2023 Housing Plan speaks to school properties and their potential for more housing. I was really glad to see this is on the table finally, as a topic we should discuss. Good steps in the right direction! @tdsb

I am going to interview this brilliant and passionate leader next Tuesday about Canadian cities, urbanism (how urban are we?), and what can we all learn from other cities across the country! Mary W. Rowe, President & CEO, @CANURB us02web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

How is #affordablehousing actually getting done? What does it look like behind the scenes? Join us on Thursday at noon to learn. @westbankcorp @KehillaRP us02web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

#Chicago: >20 units, 4-storeys, courtyard building. Not 4-plex, not garden suites, Toronto's precious Neighbourhoods could absorb more substantial changes than these "cute" typologies we call the #missingmiddle. Anyone looking at this photo and thinking this is "inappropriate"?

Massy Tower, Height& Heritage. Weird little cut is to accommodate a helicopter path! 6 storeys of above-grade parking. #CTBUHwalks
