So incredibly excited to announce the honour of being a recipient of the CIHR CGS-D award to support my doctoral research at @queensu! A huge thank you to the @CIHR_IRSC committee for this honour and my supervisor and lab members at @QuERBYLAB for their support.

Excited to present this work at @srp_science #SRP2024!

@srp_science #SRP2024 is only a few days away. Our lab has several student-led presentations during the Thursday night poster session. I'm biased, but I think the findings are exciting(!), and our group is looking forward to discussion and feedback on these works in progress!

I instruct an upper year seminar @QueensPsyc @queensu about self-injurious behaviours. For an assignment, students gave flash talks aimed at debunking myths about suicide or self-injury and created infographics to summarize. I have permission to share. A 🧵of their work 1/9:

Being trauma aware in your friendships includes extending grace and compassion for the diminished capacity of those who are overwhelmed even when they don’t say it or look like it. Just a reminder that we are still in a pandemic and people have invisible loads.

Excited to present my work on suicide ideation in transgender and non-binary people tomorrow at @srp_science! Such an honour to be presented with the inaugural DEI award. Huge thank you to my supportive supervisors, Drs. Jeremy Stewart (@QuERBYLAB) and Caroline Pukall (@QSexLab).
