.@lambeth_council have said that they will not evict tenants in debt due to Heat Network charges. Yet nearly a 1/4 of their 3,500 HN homes are now threatened. Tell us how extended payment plans work for those whose benefits leave them in negative budgets?

🚨National Grid just announced huge profits While they're exploiting a monopoly, we're paying huge standing charges before we get any energy at all, pushing many into fuel poverty. 🥶 😡 Our bills are lining private pockets. End profiteering so we can SCRAP the standing charge.

It is shocking that those at the top of today’s @UKLabour party are failing to do the right thing in tackling the despicable levels of inequality we have in this country. They need to be far more ambitious in this regard and not just tinker around the edges.
Noticed more people sleeping on the streets? Noticed broken public services that are often unaffordable after decades of austerity? Noticed a Labour government who promised "change" but now endlessly repeat "difficult decisions" but for the poorest? Let's ask better questions.

Another great report by @BBCLondonNews about out of control heating costs in Lambeth and Southwark. There is zero cost control by @lambeth_council . My block was charged over £50K of gas for the heating system *just* for the period May-Oct (when radiators would have been off).
