Dogs are overrated af yet I will continue to proudly march in that canine parade! 🥰

i would like to extend my sincerest apologies to the shark autist, bat autist, pigeon autist, crow autist, spider autist, lizard autist, fish autist, feline autist, canine autist, horse autist, rabbit autist, and owl autist communities

Got enough financial aid to cover tuition for the semester 🥳 But I need housing help still 😭 dare I take out private loans to hold me over?

I swear I’m not sad all the time I’m just using this app to pass the time while I’m already sad

It never did

helping people doesn’t matter more than the performance of Christianity.

If you want a society with: - grandchildren - healthy kids - engaged parents You need: - parental leave - functioning accessible school systems - adequate housing - social safety net - healthcare - jobs where an average single working parent can support a family

“You’re so strong and resilient. You never let your different abilities define you.”

You see, disability is when you get superpowers and do everything, but in a more inspiring way /s

Also I love this binary we have created between “privilege” and “necessity” as if many things in this world are not in fact both. Just because something is a “necessity” doesn’t mean everyone has access to it!

Reading is not a privilege. Literacy is as important as food and water. Even countries who have been scorned as supposed “third world” have exceptionally high literacy rates because they know that no matter how poor a person is, you have a right to be educated.

Tell me you don’t know what “privilege” means without telling me you don’t know what it means

I miss feeling spiritual
