Metro is genuinely better than fallout in terms of a livable apocalypse. Russia alone is on track towards rebuilding civilization 30 years after the bombs. Meanwhile fallout is 200 years later and not a single group has managed to successfully mantain a civilization worth shit.
Nerds get fixated on the mechanics of an alternative world rather than embracing the fictional space where the symbolic is turned into a material conversation that fantasy provides. Y'all just want wiki entries rather than artistic expression, & it's making fantasy worse.
