Before we go after Roald Dahl books perhaps we could deal with the literal millions of copies of David Walliams books that infest the shelves of every supermarket and bookshop in the country first.
The Roald Dahl rewriting thing feels odd simply because there are 42 new David Walliams books published every week that are stuffed with problematic drivel - often racism that isnāt even hidden. Whatās the point of acting retrospectively if you donāt get it right in the present?

Given that 275+ health/care workers & 52 transport workers have died with COVID-19, why is anyone angry with teachers who are worried about getting it? Especially as we still donāt know how easily kids can transmit it? I completely empathise with their very real concerns.
