Pastors Perspective Live @KWVE with Brian Brodersen and Bobby Conway is happening TONIGHT at @opencccm at 7PM at @calvarychapelcm - This is for young adults ages 18-30. See YOU then and there.

Three reasons why every Christian should be baptized in water: (1) The EXAMPLE of Jesus (Matt. 3:13-17), (2) The COMMAND of Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20), and (3) IDENTIFICATION with Jesus (Rom. 6:3-4).

The day after Easter we celebrate that the risen Jesus is STILL alive. His life is an endless, never decaying, abundant, victorious life AND we share that life with Him in Him.

“The reason we can stay established & settled (in the midst of chaos) is because we can be established in the scriptures.” @mrjohnhwang Stay in the Word & your perspectives of God will be enlarged! Our surety and hope is shifted when we have a right perspective of Him (God).

Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. ~ Philippians 3:20-21

Dost thou require great mercy? He is a great Saviour. I tell thee, that his mercy is no more to be exhausted than the sea is to be drained; or than the sun is to be rendered dim by the excess of the light which he pours forth to day.

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! I say, “The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in him.”” Lamentations 3:22-24 CSB

“The Bible asserts that God is over all. He started the historical process, He is controlling it, and He is going to end it. We must not lose sight of this crucial fact.”

Every morning we ought to ask the Lord to keep us from unknown sins, to preserve us from temptations that we cannot foresee, to check us in every path of life if we are about to go wrong, and to hold us up every hour that we sin not.

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday. What were the first disciples doing the day before Pentecost? “They all were continually united in prayer..." (Acts 1:14) Let's do the same; let's pray for an outpouring of God's Spirit upon the Church and a spiritual awakening in the world.

“Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; let those who love your salvation continually say, “The Lord is great!”” Psalms 40:16 CSB bible.com/1713/psa.40.16…
