Good morning from @candmclub Moreton in Marsh club site. We were lovely and snug in the van last night. It's still snowing, but it's quite wet snow.

The forecast was not great for today, so we drove the van out 20 miles to British motor museum. It was really good, and good value for £16 (although Michael forgot his age and he could have had a concession). Back at site now, but we will walk into town for dinner

This afternoon we went for a walk around Moreton in marsh. We've done a bit of Christmas shopping and had a couple of drinks in a pub

We had a lovely, peaceful night at the car park in Stow-on-the-Wold. We had a nice walk around this morning before driving to Bourton-on-the-Water. £5 to park for 2 hours, but it is beautiful. We are now at Moreton in Marsh for 2 nights, using our free night voucher

We've come away to the Cotswolds. The car park in Chipping Norton (and Diddly Squat) was very busy, so we carried on to Stow on the Wold. We are parked up for free and have visited a few pubs and had a lovely dinner

Morning. Listening to the radio this morning as I can't face all the USA election coverage that will be on our TV. I've got an early appointment at the dentist this morning after my tooth broke in France a few weeks ago

Me and my daughter went into London today. After a bit of shopping and lunch at Nandos, we saw that there was a matinee performance of Back to the Future. What a great show, with an amazing set and effects and great cast, especially George McFly

Today we drove up to Honfleur. We parked in the aire. It's €14 to stay the night, but we were just visiting. We went for a walk and had a lovely lunch - but wine is €7 a glass, not like Spain for €2.50. We are now in Le Havre waiting to depart on overnight to Portsmouth

Some video and photos of some of the buildings lit up tonight in Chartres. There are about 20 light installations across the city to see for free and they start at 6.30 now the hour has changed

We went into Chartres this morning, sadly it's Monday, and this is France, so the shops were closed and even the tourist information was shut. Luckily the cathedral was open and it was free to go in. We found somewhere for lunch. Going back later to see more buildings lit up

After our visit to the volcanoes yesterday, we carried on north to Chartres and are staying on the campsite with ACSI for €20 all in. We walked into the city to see the cathedral light show and some of the other buildings - absolutely brilliant

Today we visited le Puy de Dome volcano in Auvergne. We went up in the train that was opened in 2012. We have been previously and I think it was a land train then. It was much clearer at the top today and not too cold

We left Spain this morning and drove through terrible rain 350 miles north to nearly Clermont Ferrand. We are staying on ACSI for €25 all in. Not a lot to do within walking distance, but we have walked round the village and the rain has stopped

It's our last day in Spain. We've had just short of 3 weeks and only 2 mornings of rain. The rain is forecast for tonight and then all of tomorrow, so I think we will drive a good chunk north. Tossa has been lovely, but so many French people, you would think you are in France!

Today we drove 200km north to the Costa Brava and Tossa de Mar. We first came here 25 years ago when our oldest was a toddler. We thought it might be quiet - but how wrong were we. We are staying at the aire (no services) for free. Lots of bars open tonight & a nice feel to town

Yesterday morning we left Sanguli campsite after 9 nights. We didn't move far - only to the free park up, 15 min walk from PortAventura. Last night we went back to Ferrari Land for €25 for both of us. It was much busier than last week, but we had a good night & dinner there too

Week took the bus to Reus today. I've never been before, but have used Reus airport. Lovely city and birth place of Gaudi. We visited Gaudi museum, but couldn't get tickets to Casa Navas which looked nice.

It was our last day at Sanguli. We packed the awning away as rain was forecast for later. We cycled back to Cambrils for another wander and lunch. We had a shower this afternoon but after, we walked around this huge site and had a couple of rounds of mini golf.

A few chores this morning - washing clothes, cleaning and supermarket. After lunch we took a very hot bus to La Pineda. Not much town there or many shops open, but we did have an ice cream, sit on the beach and paddle. Maybe better to visit in high season

Today we took the bus to Cap Salou. Google maps is no good here - the buses come when they come. We walked back along the coastal path to Salou. We bought another bus ticket. This time it was €6.30 for 10 trips. Afternoon on beach & then dinner in site restaurant
