this picture got me. as a coach, you get to see the bond these kids have with their teammates. my 1, 2 combo from last year showed so much support for one another, no matter who was pitching. that’s genuine, & it’s what makes them so easy be around.
Bless the coaches who hold all kids accountable for grades, conduct & behavior. Never doubt that choosing discipline over a win is the right thing. It matters. That example says that regardless of how good a player is, he/she will be held to a very high standard. That’s powerful!

Congratulations to our Lady Cardinal CC team for capturing first place at the Donna Invitational CC Meet! Juliana Garcia took 1st overall. Our Cardinal boys took 2nd place and the 9th grade boys took 1st. Way to go Cardinals!
