Our productive meeting with @caresom CARE International, led by Deputy Country Director Mr. Abdifarhan Farah Gure, focused on projects’ impacts, government monitoring and evaluation, and partnership. CARE currently runs 26 projects across 17 of Somalia's 18 regions
M&E @MoPIED_Somalia concluded phase one of the INGO Performance & Accountability Review with @RESCUEorg, @caresom, NIS Foundation, and IMC in Mogadishu. The meetings focused on reinforcing transparency, accountability, and collaboration to advance development goals.

Today, I chaired the 4th National M&E TWG meeting, where we approved recent M&E reports , the new digital M&E system, and the National M&E Policy rollout. The TWG also endorsed stronger accountability with INGOs and plans for the upcoming National M&E conference.
The 4th meeting of the National Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Working Group has officially commenced. The TWG will engage in open discussions on a series of essential agenda items. It’s my pleasure to chair this meeting.

I am pleased to announce the 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 for the first batch of INGOs @RESCUEorg ,@caresom ,@nis_africa and @IMC_Worldwide Line ministries & civil society are integral part of the accountability.
The National M&E Technical Working Group held a highly productive meeting with the PS and DPS of the @SomaliPM , who commended the Working Group’s efforts and commitment. Discussions focused on advancing the National M&E and National Transformation Plan results framework.
Today, I co-chaired the second quarterly M&E meeting between the government and @UNinSomalia , focused on enhancing collaboration, accountability, and advancing #Somalia’s development priorities.
M&E experts from FGS and Galmudug, Jubbaland, and South West have today commenced monitoring @FAOSomalia resilience projects. This monitoring will capture the projects' impact, achievements, and challenges, with findings shared with all stakeholders.
Our M&E team, along with the Deputy PS of the Office of the Prime Minister, held a consultation meeting today on the NTP M&E framework. We reviewed templates for the implementation plan, KPIs, budget, NTP report, and consolidated fact pack.
Today, at the Hangar designated for the preparation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025-2029, we had the honor of welcoming the Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport @HonGeesood
Today, we have officially joined the NTP team. The M&E Department will lead the development of implementation plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the NTP. Our role will be crucial in the finalization of the NTP.
M&E @MoPIED_Somalia conducted a training focusing on data collection for FAO-led projects. 20 officials received hands-on training to enhance contributions to joint assessments, ensuring the quality & impact of these essential projects through accurate field data collection.
Today, I inaugurated a training workshop for M&E staff from MDAs and the MoPIED to enhance monitoring of FAO-led programs in Somalia. This is the first time the government is monitoring FAO programs.
Today, we held a consultation meeting with the MDAs to discuss the upcoming Performance Review Week scheduled for November 9-14. This review will feature the IRC, CARE International, IMC, NIS Foundation, and Save the Children, all of whom are collectively managing 102 projects.
