The 4th National M&E Technical Working Group.


Today, I chaired the 4th National M&E TWG meeting, where we approved recent M&E reports , the new digital M&E system, and the National M&E Policy rollout. The TWG also endorsed stronger accountability with INGOs and plans for the upcoming National M&E conference.

Our M&E team, along with the Deputy PS of the Office of the Prime Minister, held a consultation meeting today on the NTP M&E framework. We reviewed templates for the implementation plan, KPIs, budget, NTP report, and consolidated fact pack.

Today, we have officially joined the NTP team. The M&E Department will lead the development of implementation plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the NTP. Our role will be crucial in the finalization of the NTP.

M&E @MoPIED_Somalia conducted a training focusing on data collection for FAO-led projects. 20 officials received hands-on training to enhance contributions to joint assessments, ensuring the quality & impact of these essential projects through accurate field data collection.

Today, I inaugurated a training workshop for M&E staff from MDAs and the MoPIED to enhance monitoring of FAO-led programs in Somalia. This is the first time the government is monitoring FAO programs.

Today, we held a consultation meeting with the MDAs to discuss the upcoming Performance Review Week scheduled for November 9-14. This review will feature the IRC, CARE International, IMC, NIS Foundation, and Save the Children, all of whom are collectively managing 102 projects.
