The #Angels have been aggressive early this offseason and signed catcher Travis d'Arnoud to a two-year deal worth $12 million on Tuesday. He'll serve as a backup and mentor to Logan O'Hoppe: mlb.com/news/travis-d-…

Petriello does a great job of showing why Soroka could draw strong interest as a reliever. Check out the increased strikeout rate.

Michael Soroka went 0-10. Your team is going to want to try to sign him this winter. Here's why: --> mlb.com/news/michael-s…

Absolutely nothing. Now you did.

This post is unavailable.

Correct. You outworded me 36-25

is this even worth talking about? 2 minor leaguers changing teams, bringing next to nothing to either team... C'mon man. I know it's the off-season, but i've spent too much time typing this already. #geez

With the addition of Nick Allen, the Braves have 38 players on their 40-man roster. Luis de Avila (No. 15) is the only member of their Top 30 prospects list who would even be considered to be added to the 40-man to protect from the Rule 5 Draft before next week’s deadline.

Braves gained a backup infield option in exchange for 23-year-old pitcher who made 38 relief appearances at the High A level this year

The #Braves today acquired INF Nick Allen from the Athletics in exchange for minor-league RHP Jared Johnson.

Tromp would be more likely to begin the season as Murphy’s backup. That’s fine as long as Murphy rebounds and catches 70-80% of the games. Murphy is the component here. If he produces like he can, having an $8M backup would be unnecessary

Murphy. Under contract. Baldwin. Ready. TDA might come back. Might retire. But wasn’t very good as the season dragged on.

The Braves’ decision to not exercise d’Arnaud’s option leaves a gaping hole at the catcher’s position and in the clubhouse. He could return later this winter, but he now stands as one of the top catchers available on the free agent market mlb.com/news/braves-op…

Strengthening the bullpen became a greater need last night, when the Braves announced Joe Jiménez will miss most of all of next season mlb.com/news/joe-jimen…

Joe Jiménez could miss all of next season after undergoing surgery to repair cartilage damage in his left knee. The Braves say he could be sidelined 8-12 months.

The Braves will get a draft pick after the fourth round if Fried signs elsewhere

The #Braves today tendered a qualifying offer to LHP Max Fried.

The Braves created a surprise when they created more financial flexibility for 2025 by declining Travis d'Arnaud's 2025 option. d'Arnaud has been a clubhouse leader since arriving in 2020. His absence will be felt if he's not brought back with a new deal mlb.com/braves/news/br…

The Braves are open to bringing Travis d'Arnaud back, but they aren't currently positioned to lock into paying him $8M for next season. There might be some financial room for him once the team fills other needs.

Braves made d'Arnaud official

The #Braves today exercised DH Marcell Ozuna’s option for the 2025 season, and declined options on RHP Luke Jackson and C Travis d’Arnaud. Additionally, the club reinstated OF Ronald Acuña Jr., LHP Ray Kerr, LHP Angel Perdomo, RHP Spencer Strider and RHP Huascar Ynoa from the…

Can confirm the Braves haven't exercised Travis d'Arnaud's $8 million option. He is now a free agent. @JeffPassan had it
