Under any circumstances, the death of a colleague is deeply felt by us all. We will remember the courage and the depth of commitment that is required of our Older Sisters and Brothers, correctional officers and primary workers, as we mourn Lesa's death.
Thank you Gord for your thoughts. This was indeed a tragic accident. The team at OOHL are strong and are pulling together to support one another.
Learning this morning of the passing of a Correctional Officer from OOHL due to a car accident while on duty. Our thoughts are with her family and all of her coworkers at this tragic time.
Wanted to point out that the CSC had a fantastic representation of Honor Guard in Edmonton and to remember those who fallen in the line of duty within Alberta.
Thank you to all those who participated in the 41st Annual Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial in Ottawa to remember those who have lost their lives in the line of duty this past year.
