So much of this is an attack on expertise, on the idea that there are actual experts who know more than a reality tv host. Because once you succeed in denigrating experts, you have no one to question you who has any, well, expertise.

One thing I think people need to be aware of is the absolute torrent of bullshit we are about to see. Pay attention to what else is happening when the big distracting things - deportations, etc. - start. Theyโre going to try to flood the zone and ram it all through at once.
Trump talked about closing the Department of Education during just about every campaign speech he made. He was extremely explicit about it -- no coded language. Maybe people didn't understand what they were doing, but they voted for this.
