If you're Vlad Guerrero Jr. (30-HR, 166 OPS+, 2nd 6+ WAR season by age 25) & you hear that Mark Shapiro stopped short of calling you a generational player when asked, how does that land? Shapiro did acknowledge Vlad Jr.'s offensive ability, but not a ringing endorsement overall.
