We tell Uhuru to pay subsidies to oil marketers, but we don't ask why we subsidize fuel. A fuel subsidy is a tax levied on the poor masses who walk to and from work so that the middle class can afford to drive to and from work alone in a car. Reduce taxes, remove subsidies.
Know those charts of what takes zero talent, such as being on time, having high energy, being coachable, being prepared, etc? Well I think those things can be talents too. Let's never discount the little things that add big value!

Sometimes fate just works against you and there is nothing you can do about it. Just because you're genuine and with a good heart doesn't mean you will receive the same energy. You will only meet people who use you, suck life out of you, until the day you die.
We relax and bake cookies. We shop and spend time with family. We celebrate with our loved ones. And as educators, we worry about our students...who might not have anyone watching them...who might not have electricity...who might not experience joy while we are away from them.
Teachers, As you interview for new positions, ask the admin questions too. What is their leadership style. How do they exhibit it? How do the improve morale, how do they support teachers? etc. If they can't or are uncomfortable answering these, proceed w/ caution.
I just want to work hard, chase God, get money, eat with good people and love the same person over and over again. 😬🙈
