Being self-contained has been a crazy transition, but my students have done a great job of adjusting to our new schedule! (And being stuck with me all day 😝) And look at these math skills!!! I’m so proud of my students!! @laurenwjones
First week of school! ✅ We used playdoh to show the difference between free writing and prompt writing, and we even did some work in our Know It, Show It book! Then, our amazing IS team stopped by to surprise us!! It’s a great year to be an Armadillo!

“Scary” stories, mysteries we had to solve, and eating “s’mores” was the perfect day-after-STAAR. The kids didn’t want me to move the desks back after the day was done…Seeing them happy and enjoying things like “camping” is why I love my job!
Wow! Today’s second to last group practice before STAAR was a challenge! They had sentences that they were required to unscramble and make into a paragraph. There was an extra challenge of removing off-topic sentences which required lots of thinking! @MooreCFISD
First day of STAAR review! Today we reviewed our strategies for Paired Passages, and for every correct answer they got to spin the wheel for an item to put on their Star Wars dress up doll! They had so much fun!! #maythescoresbewithyou @MooreCFISD

Our school is filled with kindness!! Yesterday, some students decided to stay back during their recess time to help our custodians clean up the cafeteria. These 4th graders have done an AMAZING job at spreading kindness around @MooreCFISD #bemoore
