It was my student teacher’s last day today and she got me the most thoughtful gift 🥺 I love my kiddos
Well, I won’t be worrying about planning or sorting out my classroom over the summer holidays as I’ll be working part-time as PPA cover for UKS2 from September while doing my Masters in creative writing and publishing 🤩 Looking forward to a new challenge!
Taught one of those lessons this afternoon where I felt like I had gone a bit doolally by the end of the day. Now that I’m home, I’m also very aware that I mixed up deciduous and coniferous trees when discussing physical features of the Alps 🤦🏼♀️
Says a lot about how scrambled I am two days in that I completely forgot that my new afterschool writing club started today and I forgot for a solid 15 minutes. Poor kids were sat in my classroom waiting for me and I had no clue 🥲
It was the Fridayest Tuesday I have ever experienced BUT it was the last day of term and now I get to lie in until 10am everyday 🤩
The end-of-term vibes have hit too early, today felt very much like the last day 😩 Two more days!

Fell asleep at 8:30pm yesterday and woke up at 1am before going back to sleep again and it was accidentally the best midweek sleep I’ve had since the beginning of term. Almost a whole 10 hours 🤩
Just binge-watched the final season of Sex Education and it was sooo good 😭 super sad that it’s over but love the way they wrapped everything up
I decided to wear some of my new clothes to school today and the number of compliments I received from kids is silly 🤣 One member of staff said they overheard two kids saying I looked nice and that I was someone they’d ‘like to go to a party with’ 😭
