The 3 universal goals of CIED programming are to optimise ⚠️Safety, 🙂Quality of life, & 🔋Battery life. Tune in to hear me talk about batteries. Bonus fairy tale analogy included. All welcome, free for members of @PiCSA_au #cardiacphysiologist #pacemaker #ICD #CIED

PICSA EDUCATION MEETING ~ CARDIAC DEVICES Cardiac Physiologists Kim Arendshorst and Miriam Norman share their extensive knowledge in the field of cardiac implantable devices. 🌟 Wednesday 27th November 🌟 Register Now: picsa.org.au/events

The raw data from a #CIED download is just that—data. It’s not a "report" until it includes interpretation and findings. Imagine sending only the measurement list and images from an echo and calling it a "report." 🙄 PLEASE provide a summary with clear commentary and insights.

Keeping my work colleagues entertained this Halloween

Thrilled to share my radio interview with @KylieBaxterABC on pacemakers & how they impact heart patients' lives. Communicating complex health topics is something I’m passionate about. Let me know what you think! 🎙💓 Listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/1JdWTS… #HeartHealth #CIED

Congratulations to @EPinnovation and all the other great speakers. This was a wonderful event from @UniMelb @thecsanz and @PiCSA_au

Thanks @MelbourneEPdoc for inviting me as faculty, congratulations on establishing the excellent and successful CIED (and EP) CSANZ courses!

Heading home after yesterday's fabulous masterclass on cardiac devices. So good to catch up with cardiac physiologists from around the country, and to present my talk about CSP programming.

Why pursuit of “COI drop” is desirable, even when LBBAP was already obtained? For STABILITY! COI drop indicates that lead helix is not just in cheese myocardium but fixed in fibrous tissue at LV subendocardium. Note, > 10% of patients lose LBB capture during FU. #dontdisthehis
