Happy Veterans Day to my colleagues & friends! It's been a great 22+ years in @navy_reserve, including mobilizations, leadership opportunities, joint/combined assignments, and advanced education. I'm most grateful to have met so many patriots, the Nation's asymmetric advantage.

I resemble this remark! Can’t wait to get back to the Statehouse. For the record, my first job actually was @McDonalds (1991-1995). Started at $4.25 per hour. Worked hard and was promoted to crew leader and then manager. Diligence and loyalty are virtues. Let’s honor them again.

Hails and farewells are part of a military career. Today, I bid farewell to our @USForcesJapan Akron reserve unit. Naturally, we enjoyed ramen for lunch! Next month, I'll start drilling again where I began in the @navy_reserve 22+ years ago, serving in a post-command assignment.

Quite an evening on 11/2/2010, flipping a seat only @ChairmanWhatley and @JoeAmschlinger in early 2009 thought we could win and then being reelected twice and serving in leadership. Looking forward to concluding another long campaign and, with voters' support, serving once again.
