'𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐤' 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐬 Two stench pipes have been listed as grade B2 by HED. These were sewer ventilation pipes. They became obsolete and of the few that remain they are often cut in half. The survival of two full-height pipes is remarkable. #LoveHeritageNI #Listingat50

Within the past few days more old buildings on Duke Street have been demolished. Duke St from Lower Fountain Hill to Craigavon Bridge was a remnant of the Old Waterside St, one of Derry’s oldest streets. Cover of an Environmental Improvement Scheme prospectus from 1990.
