INCIDENT REPORT: Wonder incident - near Wonderland Blvd. & Ponderosa The fire has consumed 40 acrea of grass, brush, and timber, burning at a moderate rate of spread. Numerous ground and air resources at scene with significant additional order of resources.
Fires like the #WonderFire like to burn to the top of the mountain. One good thing in bigger picture is Shasta Lake contains the north flank. Bad news is no recent fire history means insane fuel loading.
