Someone please tell me why I would choose @sveltejs over @vuejs? I’d genuinely like to know. They’re very similar but Svelte has a rather ugly templating system. Why not just stick with HTML?

React has a rock-hard boner in making everything "Just JavaScript" whilst simultaneously ruining HTML and CSS. JSX and CSS-in-JS libraries are abominations.

I work with both @reactjs and @vuejs but React just feels cold to me. I can’t explain it very well. Something about Vue is just warm and fuzzy: as if the happiness and joy of using it is baked-in. ☺️🤷🏻‍♂️

One of Vue’s best features is how it’s been drama-free since 2014. 👌🏼

Is there a better reminder than this to finally get my side-project finished? 🤣 @supabase

Anyone know why using useCookie in @nuxt_js to read into an array of items, and then using those items in the template creates a hydration error? I only need it to execute on the server and not update the client.

If you replied to my job post yesterday - apologies but I had to delete it. The amount of spam and AI generated responses I got was unbearable to cope with. I'm even receiving (quite obvious) bot content emailing me directly. What a dump "X" has become. 💩

I want to leave #JavaScript™️ with @Oracle How else am I going to call myself an Enterprise developer?

You can embed HTML + CSS inside an SVG, and then use that SVG to mask thing in CSS. So technically you can CSS mask elements with other HTML elements? I can't think of a good use case for this, but its neat? Has anyone done this?

Quite interesting to see that Wikipedia is using @vuejs 3. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_La…

to be completely fair, react, at least how you use it is in fact not just javascript. it has to be transformed into javascript and no body uses React.createElement(...) for if you did, no one would use it

Can we all agree in 2024 that "Just JavaScript" is the most ridiculous statement one can make about a JavaScript framework? Everything is just JavaScript and everything is a whole lot more. You pick these tools for the abstraction, meaning the ship has already sailed.

Fine grained reactivity sounds nice but I like that react is just JavaScript

[Corrected version] We set out to explore the state of SSR performance across today's most popular libraries. Let’s unpack the results and the corrections from our last version.

If React is just JavaScript, is Vue just HTML? 🤔

If React was “just JavaScript” why are there rules of hooks and why does it need a compiler to fix those problems?

Anyone used resolveComponent in @nuxt_js? I found that doing that, I lose TypeScript typings from the scoped slot. I have to use the component directly to make it work. Does resolveComponent accept a generic for this somehow? See screenshots below:
