Lover of dogs, coffee, science, and maybe a few people. Probably in that order. Don't feel obliged to follow back. You'll be disappointed.

If you have ever used the term "cancel culture" but you fail to condemn Facebook over this policy, take a seat.

If you have 12 bad cops and 1300 good cops but those 1300 good cops don't turn in the 12 bad cops, you have 1312 bad cops.

"Jaws was a horror film, not intended to be the source of moral guidance in administering vaccine policies during a pandemic." - Steven Spielberg, probably

The moral of Jaws was "they should've closed the beaches out of an abundance of caution", not "they should've kept all the beaches open and tried to pretend it wasn't happening". Long-term public health is dependent on caution, transparency, and trust.

RT if you think Dominion should sue Ted Cruz for $1.6 billion too.

DC press corps may not be in the 1% but they are probably in the top 5-10%, esp. TV presenters, and you can see it in the questions they ask, or don't ask.

This tweet and accompanying article are the 100th time I've seen some beltway insider claim Biden is planning on taxing assets at death, only to find that in the fine print, there is no such proposal. What's with the DC press corps obsession on this?

Isn't the real source of outrage the fact that Ted Cruz came back?

It's referred to as "constituent services" and is a major part of the job of holding an office in Congress.
