Booted Ubuntu Linux 24.10 and linux-next branch on Surface Laptop 7 15” (Snapdragon X Elite) to UI Home Screen.
Installed linux-next and Ubuntu 24.10 on Surface Laptop 7 15” (Snapdragon X Elite). Still not getting Wi-Fi, BT, touchpad, and other functions working yet. Almost ditching the attempt of installing native Linux, costed me two more days to finally have a stable ARM64 dev env.

So, I didn’t know the keyboard and touchpad of Surface series is a packetized protocol over UART. I am able to bring up QCOM UART3, but lack of DTS SSH (Surface Serial Hub) example of Linux 6.6 kernel. Still working on it this week in my leisure.
