Perfectionism can make it difficult to relax - you may constantly feel like you need to be doing something productive with your time, or that you don’t “deserve” to relax until you’ve finished everything.
Continuing our air and space unit, 5th graders attempted to launch a rocket propelled by the chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar. We tried twice and although it didn’t go 100 feet into the air as we had hoped, we definitely learned about propulsion! 🚀 #RESinaction

Third graders were so excited today to learn about being a pharmacist from @rxdr05 Dr. Kitchen. They were able to count pills (candy) and grind medicine (more candy) with a genuine mortar and pestle. They even learned about how medicine and it’s packaging has changed over time.
Fifth graders started their Air and Space unit today by designing and creating straw rockets. Then we launched them down the hallway. Each rocket was launched at 15, 30, and 45 degrees. We gathered all the measurements and will analyze them next week. #airandspace #strawrockets
