Retrospektive in Wien vom 5. November bis 2. Dezember 2024 filmarchiv.at/program/retros…

Tolle Übersicht, was ADHS tatsächlich bedeutet:

RIP @stevesilberman

I’m heartbroken to hear about the death of Steve Silberman. He had such a positive impact on the public perception of autism and was always so kind and supportive of me and my work. Just an all-around wonderful human being. I’ll miss him dearly.

After evaluating many individuals across the lifespan with PDA, here is the common neuropsychological profile I find. Everyone is different— but there are certain shared patterns. 🧠 #PDA #neurodivergent #autistic #autlexic #neuropsychology

“In conclusion, we argue that due to inadequate validity evidence and serious conceptual limitations, researchers and clinicians should stop using the Eyes Test.“ #autism thetransmitter.org/spectrum/its-p…

“Clinicians need to better understand the health consequences of dismissing or failing to recognize the signs of ADHD in women, and the empirical evidence that effective treatment is the key to unlocking better, even life-saving health outcomes”

Emotional instability is not a marker of personality disorder but a marker of pain. There are many reasons for this from complex trauma to PMDD or an environment where one can't fundamentally be oneself leading to masking. #TraumaNotPD #AutismNotPD #ADHDNotPD #PMDDNotPD

Honestly think that the major message for the next generation of psychiatrists is that how neurodiversity is expressed, particularly in women and in restrictive contexts, is not “emotional instability” and is most definitely not “personality disorder”

Autismus und ADHS sind meist gemeinsam vorhanden. #AuDHS

"AuDHD is uniquely “cyclical”... with big bursts of energy followed by a crash... The paradoxes can camouflage each other or on the surface at least – cancel each other out, which is why some AuDHDers experience missed or incorrect diagnoses."👍#AuDHDNotPD tinyurl.com/3jn4xb6u
