So you have 3 days in Ghana (yes it isn't enough time 🙄) where would visit and who would you see?

Have you met @divinetechygirl? 👇🏾 I'm pretty fortunate to know and see her excel at being her across all these roles she serves in.

Last year, I set out to create/update Wikipedia pages for 100 Black women. I recently completed my 100th edit, but I'm still collecting names and working on pages. Who needs a page? Which pages need to be updated?

I’m so glad you are talking about this. We ran an experiment earlier this year surrounding NFTs and influencers and one of the biggest roadblocks on my list of concerns putting in my short term roadmap was “not enough women leveraging crypto or NFTs in their portfolio!”

I’ve said it before, but I can’t say it enough: underestimated friends, we simply do not have the luxury of time to waste on imposter syndrome. Whatever you’re being paid, it’s not enough. Whatever power you have, you can always have more, & there’s more than enough to go around.

Your job is not to find companies you love. But to find companies that fit your funds' thesis and your partners/investment committee are going to love because they are the ones who say yes to the companies.

A common narrative is that savvy investors are there to bestow wisdom on founders. While that’s no doubt true, founders-turned-investors have a very different understanding of what shows up outside the spreadsheet, as @MacConwell told us technical.ly/2020/10/26/wha…

Dear Founders, Incubating your company includes incubating it's culture. *That's it, that's the tweet.

I’ll just slide my plug in: y’all better be recruiting for tech companies at historically-Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). No more of this, “We don’t know where to find more Black engineers, etc.” ☝🏽 And Howard is not the only HBCU. Do the work.

I so much agree. This common activity dampens not only the role in market but the perception of the selected candidate's growth journey. lnkd.in/g8dFHzQ
