your old self carried you here and they’re always with you in the transitions, the learning and the uncomfortable growth. it’s not a part that you lose so you don’t have any going back to do but to simply make room for all versions of self - just a shift of perspective. 🥹🤍

Coming to the realisation that you can never really go back to your old self is such a humbling experience.

Your new life will cost you your old one. It’s extremely humbling but liberating at the same time. I like the idea of never looking back 🤍

I really don’t understand the infantilisation of men, who’s helping women get on their feet? What are they doing while women are developing themselves? When do they take accountability for the success or lives in general?

Why are woman against helping a man get on his feet

Old school… Consistency, actions over words, listened to the things she liked and planned frequent date nights, trips, and experiences. Chivalry still wins

"Just have kids in your 20s so that by late 30s you are free" "Anza watoto mapema ndio umalizane hiyo chapter mapema" Friend, umalize nini? Parenting is life-long. Its the REAL till-death-do-us-part. While its seasons change,it really never ends till either of you crosses over

yes. i always say this. i love how they always do what’s best for them no matter what that looks like. men stick to their schedules, preferences , and their habits. women will change their whole everything to please a man and be left looking crazy when shit go left for doing so.

I learned selfishness from men—they really know how to put themselves first. 10/10 would recommend. 👐🏾

It’s funny you say this because my father is actually an incredible artist and he taught me nearly everything I know and then some. He doesn’t paint as often anymore but he always makes time to discuss/create art with me❤️ These are some of his works❤️
