Not true at all. If by rare chance a South Indian restaurant gets it right, then they would be having a cook from North or East of Vindhya's. What goes as North Indian food is highly Mugalised, Butter laden mush. Indian born in South of India, spent 3 decades in North India
It's amusing how restaurants in South India are so much better at making North Indian food than restaurants in North India making South Indian food.
