Stop trying to teach your boss how to do their jobs better and consider leaving instead. Imagine what you could actually accomplish in a non-dysfunctional environment.

I'm open to to new opportunities/roles where I can help teams grow, especially in (Mobile) Engineering Management and Product-related remote roles. I bring significant experience in building teams, products and processes. Shall we connect? ;)

The great engineers I have worked with: - Doesn’t wait for instructions and tickets - Proactively communicate - Have strong opinions but ready to change their views once they learn there’s better version - Care for the project not just them or their team members

Be right a million times, and wrong once OR vice versa, but learn, improve, challenge and one day you will notice the percentages change. Being humble does not mean shutting up about your accomplishments.

If you have a question, ask directly. Don’t Hide it under guise of something else. If asked a question, answer. Be transparent when others are not. Document. Follow up without being asked to follow up.

Take mistakes, no matter how painful, as opportunity to grow. To learn. To make sure others don’t make the same mistakes. Raise your voice when needed, but listen to the other side.

Take satisfaction in seeing anyone working with you grow expotentially because of the trust given. Trust. Verify exceptions, and even then - only as means to facilitate growth.

Helping others get better, treating each others as humans - basics of humane management have been known forever, yet sometimes people think they don’t apply to them.

In the current market, remember your power comes from trust rather than position. In any market, remember your power comes from empowering others rather than making them fear you.

Becoming more senior as an engineer isn't so much about the code you're writing; it's more about communication, collaboration, and connecting the dots

Also looking for a senior(ish) frontend person that likes typescript, Vue, Vuex, jest, Cypress and cares about usability. Position is remote, so ping if you wanna join a fairly nice team!

Anybody looking for an awesome Android role? We dabble with system apps, designing APIs and SDKs and solving problems that fall outside the scope of an app Android dev - remote role, ping to talk.
