So excited to collaborate with Pennsylvania as this team gets stood up!

Today, I’m creating our very own tech startup: CODE PA. The Commonwealth Office of Digital Experience will be a full-time team of UX designers, engineers, and product managers who will improve our online government services right here in Pennsylvania.

Learning how to make artistic characters in Procreate and feeling excited for Starship launch :)

“In 1947, Hopper famously identified the first computer ‘bug’ when she traced a Mark I glitch back to a moth that was caught in a relay wire, shorting out a circuit…and inspiring the term ‘debugging’ used ever since for solving problems with a computer program’s execution”-@erie

An amazing opportunity for tech-industry workers in Colorado to do meaningful work. Reach out if you have questions about my experience, but it was one of the best opportunities of my life. I highly endorse this concept and the team involved here in particular.

So impressed by @molliebradlee @chadgeidel and the team for this great work. Two years ago, a child case worker had to call us to tell us the system was down. We've come a long way.

A must-read for any government team dealing with legacy software. In this blog post the Trails team that supports child welfare cases in the state shares lessons to move from red to green by taking a deep look at people, processes, and technology. tinyurl.com/2bhpyr6u
