Demoralized doesn’t even cover it. But as it sinks in that we’re going back, it strengthens my resolve to be proactive, lift up my communities, be grounded in my beliefs and most importantly, it makes me proud to be all the things they hate.


It’s very surreal to have gotten to this point and I couldn’t have done without the support of my amazing family, friends, mentors and community, but as I get ready to begin my first day as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, it began to sink in that I actually am #PhDone
