Take it from those who know him best: If Donald Trump is reelected, he will fill the White House with loyalists—and there will be no one to stop his worst instincts. Watch our new ad:

So if I understand correctly: -Ga power builds tax funded nuclear reactors at 2x the budget and time of original plan -they then add fee to our bills for those -Now unelected local officials are giving tax breaks to data centers that will use all of that new energy? Fuck this

3/ Additionally, the energy demand of these centers is substantial, oftentimes equivalent to an entire natural gas plant's output, further stressing our fragile electric grid.

Thousands and thousands of Georgians, many of whom live in rural GA and are conservatives, have spoken out against Twin Pines’ plan to destroy the #Okefenokee swamp. The only person who can do anything at all to stop it is @BrianKempGA Twin Pines gave him something. What is it?

After the 2024 legislative session, the Okefenokee Swamp, the continent’s largest blackwater swamp, still does not have a certain future. @MarkLannNews buff.ly/448rtFr

The Republican’s justification for HB 1312 is that they want to prevent sudden change on the commission. That’s like skipping presidential elections to prevent sudden changes in the administration. It’s called democracy. If it’s what the people want, it’s what they want. #gapol

The Georgia General Assembly passed a bill that would keep current utility regulators in charge beyond the expirations of their terms, a proposal that arose from an ongoing court battle that has put PSC elections on hold since 2022. #gapol ajc.com/politics/georg…

Republicans are using Laken Riley's death as a call to arms on border control. Remember it's Republicans who killed immigration and border security legislation over and over. Let's not politicize Laken's tragic loss. Dems have come to the table. Rs excused themselves. #gapol

Why are we trying to bring back child labor in 2024? I need to #gagop to do better. Do we really need to put children to work, or should we pay adults livable wages? Let kids be kids. Protect the kids. #gapol

Rep. Deborah Silcox is trying to pass a bill to bring CHILD LABOR back to GA. HB 501 removes basic protections for kids. Employers won't have to check the age of children who work. CALL Deborah Silcox and ask her to protect our kids –> gahousedems.us/children #gapol

As an organizer and activist steeped in southern politics, I have to wonder, what steps are being taken? Because some political stances are just factually incorrect... like whether the earth is round or flat, the climate is changing, or whether black people face discrimination.

That chart exaggerates the situation imo, but we are taking immediate action to shift Grok closer to politically neutral

Saying, “oh it’s only a few more dollars a month” is how GA Power and GA’s major news outlets collude to make the increases seem less devastating. I’ve been asking reporters to stop using the power company and PSC’s narrative for years. It’s billion dollar robbery!

On Wed. Aug. 30 Ga Power and the Ga PSC announced they reached a secret deal, I mean, stipulated agreement, to add $7.56 billion into rates to pay for Plant Vogtle. An enormous amount of news headlines stated that Ga Power bills will increase $9/mo. apnews.com/article/georgi…

I never said the project shouldn’t be completed. I said the nuclear industry should be honest & accurate w/costs and timeline. The nuclear industry is not trustworthy because of these failures. Decision makers, and more importantly, the people who are paying, deserve the truth.

Not competing the project would have failed important energy security and sustainability objectives. It's that simple. The country now has a low C asset that will operate for 60+ years. The costs and difficulty of the construction will soon fade from memory
